Nagpur Mob Attacks Car After Collision With 3 Pedestrians: Caught On Camera

The police arrested three teenagers and the driver of the car, who was sent for a medical examination while the criminal case was processed.

Nagpur Accident:  In Maharashtra’s Nagpur, a car was vandalized by a gang after it ran over three people, including a child, in the Zenda Chowk area under Kotwali police limits on Friday night. The police arrested three youths and the driver in connection with the incident, and bottles of vodka and drugs were also taken from the car.

A case has been registered and the accused have been sent for medical examination, said Gorakh Bhamre, DCP, Nagpur Police.”

A woman, her child, and another person were injured when a speeding car hit them in the Zenda Chowk area of ​​Kotwali police station around 8.30 pm,” Bhamre said.

“People caught one of the accused. The police arrested 3 youths and the driver in connection with the case. Vodka bottles and drugs were taken from the car. The medical examination of the accused is underway and the case is pending,” he added.

The incident is close to the one in Pune where a 17-year-old boy rammed his Porsche into two IT professionals who were killed on the spot.

Commissioner of Police Amitesh Kumar said on Friday that the family of the accused is trying to establish that a driver employed by his family was driving at the time of the incident.

“We have CCTV footage of him (youth) drinking liquor in a bar….. He was fully aware, he was fully aware that due to his behavior, such an accident could happen where Section 304 of the IPC applies. Kumar said. Section 304 deals with culpable homicide not amounting to murder.
