Nagpur: Class 10 Boy Hangs Self To Death – Was Mother’s Inquiry About Tuition Fees The Reason?

Nagpur: A 15-year-old Class 10 boy was reportedly found dead at his residence in Sadar, Nagpur. According to TOI reports, the student allegedly died by suicide on Tuesday. Cops informed that there was no suicide note recovered, and it is difficult to find out the exact reason behind the drastic step.

Authorities suspect the reason could be the mother’s confrontation with the child over tuition fees. His mother had given him Rs 1,500 to pay the tuition fees ahead of his examination on Wednesday.

Further investigation revealed that he paid only Rs 1,000 to his tutor. When questioned about the remaining Rs 500, the boy reportedly had no explanation.

Police informed that the boy was later discovered hanging from the ceiling fan. He was immediately rushed to a private hospital, which referred him to another hospital, where he was declared dead.

A case of accidental death has been registered by the Sadar Police.

In yet another shocking incident, a college student allegedly died by suicide in Bengaluru on Friday night following a dispute with her family members, according to the police. The deceased was identified as a 19-year-old BBA student and a resident of Chamarajpet.
