Nagaland Assembly Election 2023: The Bharatiya Janata Party will contest the assembly elections on 20 out of 60 seats in Nagaland. In the other 40 seats, the Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party (NDPP), which is part of the NDA alliance, will field its candidates. Let us tell you that votes will be cast in Nagaland on February 27, while the results will come on March 2.
A list of 20 candidates has been released by the BJP on Thursday. BJP has said that we will contest on 20 out of 60 seats in Nagaland. Rest of the seats have been given to our alliance partner NDPP. According to the BJP list, state president Temjen Imna will contest from the Alongtaki assembly seat.

There is a BJP coalition government in Nagaland. Here the BJP government is running under the leadership of Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio.
