Rahul Gandhi US visit: The war of words started again between Congress and BJP after a group of people sought pro-Khalistani slogans by holding the Khalsa flag while Rahul Gandhi was addressing the Indian diaspora in San Fransisco, United States.
Though, the way Rahul handled the situation is also being praised on social media. He was speaking about ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’ and how the idea opened a shop of love in a Market of hate “Nafarat ke bazaar me mohhabat ki dukan”. Suddenly, a group of people started shouting pro-Khalistani slogans which interrupted his speech for a while.
Reacting to interruption, Rahul Said, “The interesting thing about us (Congress party) is we have affection towards everybody. If someone wants to come a say something, we listen to them regardless of what are they saying. We are not going to get angry and aggressive upon them, we will be loving them because that is our nature.”
But, BJP has given it some other angle to it.
Sharing a clip of Rahul’s speech on his Twitter, BJP IT cell head Amit Malviya wrote, “Rahul Gandhi heckled for the 1984 Sikh genocide (unleashed by the Congress), in America… Such a fire of hatred was lit, which has not been extinguished till now.”
In a befitting reply to Amit Malviya, Congress IT cell head Shupriya Shrinate asked, “Why do you have desires to break India?”
“Amit Malviya, why are you supporting those who support Khalistan to oppose Rahul Gandhi? Why do you have the desire to break India?,” said Shrinate.
“By the way, if we had listened further, we would have seen how the people answered those desirous of Khalistan by raising slogans of ‘Join India’. Once you also take the tricolour in your hand and say loudly ‘Jodo Jodo, India Jodo’ Believe me – a traitor like you will also like it,” Supriya Shrinate wrote further.
