RJD leader Shweta Suman on Wednesday attacked the BJP, claiming that her nomination from Mohania for the Bihar Assembly polls was cancelled under pressure from the party and its leaders, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah.
While talking to media persons, Suman said, ” Pressure was constantly being placed on the RO and CO from Delhi. They were forced to make this decision. They said they were helpless… The BJP, PM Modi, and Amit Shah were the ones putting pressure. Who else would be putting the pressure? … I will definitely go to court… Sangeeta, the BJP candidate from here, submitted her caste certificate after the notification date, but she submitted it on 13 October… But since she is from the BJP, nothing will be done.”

As per reports, Suman’s nomination was cancelled by the Election Commission due to incomplete personal details.
It reportedly stated that Suman had mentioned Chandauli in Uttar Pradesh as her native place during the 2020 Bihar Assembly polls, but in 2025, she cited her residence in Bihar.
The Election Commission took action following a complaint lodged by a BJP leader regarding discrepancies in her residential address.
Earlier, Suman broke down before media, claiming that her candidature was cancelled from Mohania Assembly constituency.
