Muzaffarnagar: A shocking incident has come to light from Muzaffarnagar in Uttar Pradesh, where a 22-year-old woman chopped off her boyfriend’s private part. She committed the crime after discovering that the man’s marriage had been arranged with another girl. They had been in a relationship for eight years.
According to the police, the woman had invited her boyfriend to a room in a guesthouse on Sunday afternoon. A heated argument broke out between them in the room. During the argument, the woman attacked the victim’s private part with a sharp weapon. After the attack, she tried to harm herself as well. The victim has been hospitalised and is said to be in critical condition.

Muzaffarnagar DSP Vyom Bindal said that the woman also sustained injuries to her hand, and both of them were rushed to the hospital. The man has been shifted to Meerut Medical College, and preliminary investigations suggest that the couple had been in a relationship for almost 8 years. They both belonged to Kulheri under Charthawal limits. The woman confided in the police that the man had arranged his marriage elsewhere, which resulted in an argument between them.
DSP Bindal added that further investigation is underway and necessary action would be taken. Police have started investigating call records of the couple and collecting evidence.
In another incident, three people including two toddlers were killed and six others were injured after a dumper truck ran over them while they were sleeping on the footpath in Wagholi Chowk area of Pune city. The incident occurred last night around 1 am. DCP Zone 4 Himmat Jadhav, Pune City Police said that the driver who was under the influence of alcohol has been arrested under relevant sections of Motor Vehicles Act and BNS for further investigation.
