Muzaffarnagar: A 20-year-old named Mujahid experienced a life-altering event when he went to bed as a man and woke up as a woman. This drastic change was the result of a deceptive scheme involving another man and several doctors at a local medical college in Muzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh.
Mujahid, a resident of Sanjak village, claimed that on June 3, he was tricked by Omprakash, who conspired with doctors at Begrajpur Medical College in Mansoorpur to perform a forced gender change on him without his consent. This surgery involved the removal of his genitals and a forced gender change. The incident has caused widespread outrage, leading to protests organized by the Bharatiya Kisan Union (BKU).
In a shocking incident in Muzaffarnagar, 20-year-old Mujahid claims he was deceived into undergoing gender reassignment surgery by Omprakash, a man who had allegedly been threatening and harassing him for two years. Mujahid was falsely told he had a medical issue and was taken to a hospital by Omprakash, where he was given anesthesia and subjected to the surgery.
After regaining consciousness, Mujahid got to know that he had been changed from a man to a woman. Omprakash reportedly threatened Mujahid, telling him he would have to live with him as his family and community would no longer accept him. Omprakash also allegedly threatened to harm Mujahid’s father and take control of their land.

He also demanded compensation of at least ₹2 crore for Mujahid, whose life has been severely impacted by this traumatic incident.
Senior Muzaffarnagar police officer Ramashish Yadav stated that all allegations will be thoroughly investigated, and appropriate legal actions will be taken against those found guilty. In addition to arresting Omprakash, the police are investigating the involvement of hospital staff in the case
