A shocking murder occurred in Muzaffarnagar, UP. Police arrested the husband while he was trying to dispose of his wife’s body after killing her following their love marriage. He brutally beheaded her, then cut off her hands, and divided the body into four pieces.
A police officer stated that the accused, Arbaaz, married a 21-year-old woman named Chahat from Uttarakhand about six months ago. They started living in a rented room without informing his family.
He said that a week ago, Arbaaz killed Chahat with a sharp object and chopped off her head and hands.
SP Satyanarayan Prajapat said that the city police received a tip that two people on a motorcycle were heading towards the Kali River and trying to float a sack in it. Upon receiving this information, the police and ASP immediately went to the location.
He said, “One of the suspects escaped when he saw the police, but they caught the other man. When they questioned him, they found a headless body in a sack.”
The accused said he married 21-year-old Chahat about six months ago. Over the last six months, they had disagreements and started fighting over many issues.
About seven days ago, he and an accomplice killed his wife by slitting her throat with a knife. The officer said a team has been formed to arrest the second accused. Police also said they have recovered the murder weapon.
