Bengaluru Airport Murder: A trolley operator at Bengaluru’s Kempegowda International Airport was killed near Terminal 1’s parking area on Wednesday by a man who thought the operator was having an affair with his wife.
The incident occurred around 7 pm when Ramesh, the accused, attacked Ramakrishna with a machete. After the attack, the Devanahalli police detained Ramesh.

The preliminary investigation suggests that the murder was motivated by personal revenge. Police said Ramesh believed Ramakrishna was having an affair with his wife.

The Deputy Commissioner of Police for North East Bengaluru told India Today that Ramesh brought the machete in a college bag and traveled to the airport by BMTC bus, so his bag wasn’t scanned. The attack occurred near a restroom in the arrival parking area of Terminal 1 (Lane 1).
