Hoarding Was Put In Mumbai Long Back
The information indicates that Igo Media installed this hoarding in April 2022. Former BJP MP Kirit Somaiya lodged a complaint with the BMC Commissioner about this on April 29 of this year. The BMC states that the land, where the structure for the hoarding was built, is registered under the Home Department Police Head Quarter/ Maharashtra State Policing Housing Welfare Corporation.

The company had installed the hoarding at this location without obtaining permission from BMC. In response, BMC imposed a fine of Rs 6 crore 13 lakh 84 thousand on the company and instructed them to take down the hoarding. However, the company failed to remove the hoarding, leading to the tragic loss of eight lives. The Chief Minister has clearly stated that strict actions will be taken against the company responsible for installing the hoarding.
