Kokilaben Ambani, mother of Reliance Industries chief Mukesh Ambani and Reliance ADA Group chief Anil Ambani, was admitted to the HN Reliance Foundation Hospital late Thursday night. According to information received, she was airlifted to the hospital in an emergency condition.
Kokilaben, 91-year-old has been admitted due to age-related health problems and is currently under the observation of senior doctors. No official information has been shared about her health and no statement has come from the Ambani family so far. Soon after his admission, Mukesh Ambani was seen at Kalina Airport in Mumbai, from where he went straight to the hospital.
A video that emerged on the internet showed the Ambani family’s convoy arriving at the hospital in South Mumbai, which raised concerns for her health and well-being. While doctors have refused to provide details about her medical condition, they have heightened worries because of her age.

Kokilaben, wife of the late Dhirubhai Ambani, who was the founder of Reliance Industries, has played a central role in India’s leading business families.
