Mukesh Ambani, the chairman of Reliance Industries Limited (RIL), expressed confidence at the Vibrant Gujarat Summit 2024, stating that India is unstoppable in its journey to become a $35 trillion economy by 2047. He specifically believes that Gujarat, on its own, will achieve the milestone of becoming a $3 trillion economy. Ambani emphasized that no external force can hinder India’s economic growth.

Mukesh Ambani continued to emphasize Reliance’s role in Gujarat’s development, stating, “One-third of the conglomerate’s Rs 12 lakh crore investment in creating world-class assets and capacities across India has been in Gujarat.” He also laid out future commitments, affirming, “We will continue to play a leading role in Gujarat’s growth story with significant investments in the next ten years.”
Ambani outlined Reliance’s commitment to making Gujarat a global leader in green energy-led growth, stating, “We will help Gujarat’s target to meet half of its energy needs through renewable energy by the year 2030.” He elaborated on this commitment by mentioning the initiation of the Dhirubhai Ambani Green Energy Giga Complex, spread over 5,000 acres in Jamnagar. According to Ambani, this complex will not only generate green jobs but also facilitate the production of eco-friendly products and materials, positioning Gujarat as a leading exporter of such products.
Ambani also touched upon Reliance Jio’s 5G rollout, emphasizing that Gujarat is fully 5G enabled. He expressed confidence that this development would make Gujarat a global leader in Digital Data Platforms and AI adoption.
Ambani commended Prime Minister Narendra Modi for India’s rapid transformation into a global economic powerhouse, describing him as the “most successful Prime Minister in India’s history” and the “greatest global leader of our times.” He acknowledged Modi’s commitment to the mantra of global good and making India the world’s growth engine.
Ambani expressed his admiration for Modi’s remarkable journey from Gujarat to the global stage in just two decades, likening it to a modern epic. He concluded by expressing confidence, stating, “Therefore, I am confident—every Gujarati is confident—and every Indian is confident that the Modi Era will take India to new summits of prosperity, progress, and glory.”
In addition to Mukesh Ambani, numerous global leaders, prominent industrialists, and top CEOs graced the Gujarat Vibrant Summit 2024. During the event, Prime Minister Narendra Modi reaffirmed his dedication to economic growth, assuring that India is on track to emerge as one of the top three economies globally.
