MP Train Accident: Two freight trains collided on Wednesday near Singhpur railway station in Shahdol. The engine of a train caught fire after the collision. It is being told that the loco pilot of a goods train was seriously injured while two other railwaymen are feared to be trapped in the engine.

According to the news agency ANI, the rescue operation is going on after the information about the accident. All trains on the Bilaspur-Katni route are said to be affected. GM, DRM, Branch Officer and other officials also reached the spot after the collision of both the goods trains.

According to the information, after the information about the accident, the medical van, crane and rescue team also reached the spot. Please tell that the goods train was coming to Bilaspur from Katni side. It is being told that both the goods trains collided due to overshoot of the signal.

Five people including the loco pilot, guard were injured in the accident. The team that reached the spot has admitted the injured to the nearest hospital for treatment. At present, the rescue is going on by the railway administration.
