AAP MP Raghav Chadha addressed a massive public gathering today in support of AAP candidate Sarita Singh in the Rohtas Nagar Assembly constituency. At the beginning of the rally, MP Raghav Chadha called for a two-minute silence to pay tribute to the victims of the tragic accident at the Prayagraj Mahakumbh. Expressing his condolences, he stated, “It is our collective responsibility to express sympathy for the bereaved families and make every possible effort to assist them.” The entire gathering observed silence in memory of the departed souls.
A large crowd of party workers and local residents attended the public meeting, with enthusiastic slogans of “Bring the Broom, Bring Change” resonating throughout the area. Raghav Chadha’s impassioned speech received thunderous applause from the attendees.
This Election Is Not Just An Election, But A Wave Of Change
MP Raghav Chadha emphasized that the upcoming election is not just a political contest but an opportunity for the people of Rohtas Nagar to bring about a historic transformation. He urged voters to evaluate the development efforts of their representatives over the past five years.
He appealed to the people to make an informed decision in this election. “Rohtas Nagar had previously elected AAP candidate Sarita Singh as their MLA, and she delivered results. On the other hand, the current MLA’s performance over the past five years is for everyone to see. Now, it is up to you to decide who was a better representative and under whose leadership your area saw real development.”
Kejriwal Government Vs. Other Governments
Raghav Chadha asserted that when the Arvind Kejriwal-led government is in power with an AAP MLA, the speed of development increases 500 times. He challenged voters to compare the progress made under the AAP government versus the stagnation seen under other parties.
Purpose Of Entering Politics
He explained that AAP leaders come from educated middle-class backgrounds and joined politics to create a clean and people-centric governance model. “We did not enter politics for power but to change its course. Our goal is not just to win elections but to serve the people. The country needed a political alternative, and that is why AAP was formed.”
‘This Is Not Freebies, But Public Welfare’
Criticizing the GST system, Chadha stated that while people pay 50-60% of their income in taxes to the central government, they receive little in return. He argued that it is the government’s duty to provide public services in exchange for these taxes.
He countered allegations of AAP’s welfare policies being mere “freebies,” questioning whether Delhi residents would have received free electricity, free bus travel for women, quality education, and other benefits if not for the Kejriwal government. He affirmed that AAP is not just providing basic amenities but is also striving to make Delhi the most developed city in India.
AAP Confident Of A Landslide Victory
Chadha expressed confidence that AAP would win more than 62 seats in the upcoming Delhi Assembly elections. “The enthusiasm and support of the people indicate that the ‘broom’ will once again sweep away corruption, ensuring a cleaner and more transparent governance.”
Sarita Singh: A Strong Candidate
Endorsing Sarita Singh as a strong candidate, Chadha highlighted her long association with AAP and her contribution to the party’s struggle and success. He urged voters to support her and vote for the ‘broom’ symbol.
‘Press The Broom Button, Save Rs 25,000 Every Month
Raghav Chadha concluded by stating that AAP’s policies help families save at least ₹25,000 per month. “Press the broom button and save ₹25,000 every month. If you want these savings, vote for AAP.”
He appealed to the people to choose a government that works for their welfare and their children’s future instead of one that merely makes empty promises. “The people of Delhi must carefully decide whether they want progress or a government stuck in old ways.”
