A video showing a peon evaluating examination answer sheets instead of a professor went viral on social media. The peon was allegedly paid Rs 5000 to evaluate the answer copies by the professor. After the videos surfaced on social media, the professor has been suspended. The professor reportedly claimed that she had some health issues, and it was the reason for asking the peon to evaluate the answer sheets.
Viral clip shows peon checking answer sheets
The incident came to light in January 2025 after the videos went viral. In the viral clip, the peon, Pannalal Pathariya, is seen checking the exam copies. Pathariya is employed as a peon at Shaheed Bhagat Singh Government PG College in Madhya Pradesh’s Pipariya.
Principal and nodal officer have been suspended
In the viral video of peon allegedly checking exam answer sheets, Madhya Pradesh Minister Vishvas Sarang said, ” As soon as the matter came to notice, the principal and the nodal officer have been suspended. Action has been taken against the peon involved. Strictest action will be taken.”

Professor Khushboo Paghare has been suspended. The matter was highlighted by a local MLA. The education department launched a full probe.
