A civil judge aspirant whose sudden disappearance without any traces in CCTV cameras had shocked the police has finally been traced. Archana Tiwari, 29, had taken a train from Indore to Katni, but since then her family had not been able to trace her. The police had been investigating the various nuances of the case to find her.
The police have now succeeded in their pursuit and managed to get in touch with Archana Tiwari, who had been in contact with a constable posted in Gwalior, as per an NDTV report.
Her brother has further confirmed that she is alive, and the police will soon share further information. NDTV has revealed that the aspirant has been in touch with her family, and a Railway Police team is believed to have left for the location to bring her back.
Archana had boarded the Indore–Bilaspur Narmada Express on August 7. She had last spoken to her mother when the train reached Bhopal at 10:15 p.m., after which she vanished into oblivion, and no one was able to trace her.
Since the police found her bag at Umaria station, concerns about her well-being further deepened. Upon investigation, the police detected her last known location at Rani Kamlapati station in Bhopal. They also said that her phone had briefly come online, suggesting that an internet call was probably made before it went completely offline.
While investigating the matter, the police scanned footage from 97 cameras across multiple railway stations. Three police teams were deployed, and beyond the extensive searches at railway stations, the forest area of Midghat- a hilly stretch between Budhni and Barkheda- was combed with the help of sniffer dogs, divers, and drones.
Ms. Tiwari’s call details and social media handles were also scrutinized by the police for information about her whereabouts.
