Madhya Pradesh: Madhya Pradesh Police arrested a 55-year-old man for stripping a man half naked, slapping and forcing him to lift a shoe with mouth in Rewa district.
A disturbing incident that occurred in Piprahi village, falling under the jurisdiction of Hanuman police station, came to light after a video of the incident went viral on social media.
The distressing video, recorded back in 2021, shows a half-naked victim with his hands tied back, pleading for mercy desperately.

The main accused, 55-year-old Jawahar Singh, and his two accomplices were arrested by the police in connection with the heinous act.

In the video, the attackers are seen forcing the victim to pick up a shoe with his mouth as they subject him to punches.
The motive behind the gruesome act is suspected to be related to a property dispute.
The police have registered an FIR against the accused, charging them under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). Following the arrest, the accused have been remanded in judicial custody by a local court.
The prime accused was identified as Jawahar Singh and the the victim was recognized as Jay Prakash Gupta .
