Monsoon Session to commence on July 20 in new Parliament Building

New Delhi: Parliamentary Affair Minister Pralhad Joshi informed on Saturday that the Monsoon Session, 2023 of Parliament would commence on July 20 and continue till August 11.

Minister urged all parties to contribute to having productive discussions on Legislative Business and other items during Legislative Business and other items during the session.

There will be 17 sittings in this 23-day session. During this, the BJP government can present many important bills like Uniform Civil Code.

New Parliament Building will host the session

The new Parliament House inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on May 28 is all set to host the upcoming Monsoon Session. Offices have been identified for almost all political parties present in Parliament and key departments have been asked to shift to the new establishment.
