At a wedding in Bihar, a woman danced with other men to inappropriate songs. Her husband, a retired army soldier now working with Dial 112, stopped her and shut down the DJ. Upset by this, the wife told her brother and father, who then locked the husband in a room and beat him badly.
The incident happened in the Mojahidpur police station area. A family from Mirzapur and Sabour came to Mojahidpur for a relative’s wedding. At the event, Roshan Ranjan’s wife danced with a stranger, so Roshan stopped the dance and the DJ. Angry about this, the wife told her father and brother, who then attacked Roshan when they got home.
Mirzapur Man Works With Dial 112
Roshan Ranjan, who works with Dial 112, said over the phone, “My wife was dancing with another man to inappropriate songs.” I confronted her, which led to an argument. When I got home, my father-in-law and brother-in-law locked me in a room and beat me severely. They took my phone when I tried to call 112 and even let the air out of my car tires to stop me from going to the police. Despite my injuries, I made it to the Mojahidpur police station, where they sent me to the hospital with Dial 112.
City SP Mr. Raj said that no written complaint has been filed yet, but they will take action as soon as they receive one.
