The horrific abuse of the minor girl working as domestic help in Nagpur continues to reveal disturbing details of her ordeal. According to a neighbor, the girl’s employers had neglected to pay the electricity bill for the house, resulting in its disconnection. As a result, the young girl was forced to spend her nights locked in darkness and survived on nothing more than bread.

The neighbor recounted the heart-wrenching moment when they discovered the girl trying to escape through a window one night. They promptly rescued her, provided her with food and care, and immediately informed the authorities to take the necessary action.

The family that had brought the girl to Nagpur had reportedly promised her parents that they would provide her with education and care. However, the girl endured severe abuse and suffering instead.

Social worker Sheetal Patil, associated with the Kailash Satyarthi Children’s Foundation, shared that a medical examination of the traumatized girl revealed multiple injuries and burn marks on her body, including her private parts. The girl is currently undergoing treatment and will begin her rehabilitation process.

One person has been arrested in connection with this horrific incident. A case has been registered against the family responsible for the abuse, and the police are conducting further investigations to ensure justice for the young victim.
