Noida is one of the most beautiful cities in Uttar Pradesh. It is a major contributor to the GDP growth of the state. There have been a lot of developmental projects which have come across in Noida in the past few years, like YEIDA, Noida International Airport, Expo Mart, etc..
It is a place with high-rise buildings, offices, and other infrastructures. Similarly, Kanpur is going to get facilities through a new city which will be developed soon. The city which will be settled will be called ‘New Kanpur City’.
According to media reports, the project has received approval from Uttar Pradesh’s Cabinet. In the meeting, it was mentioned that the New Kanpur City will receive similar facilities to Noida.
For this over 20,000 hectares of the land has been taken and people will get compensation for the same.
The project under the land acquired has 80 villages located around the highway, ring road, and the defence corridor. The is planned with the motive to give an effect of urbanization to the new city.
The project has received approval from the UP government, but further notification is awaited. The villages coming under the land taken for the project are located near the highway. The Chief City Planner of KDA, Manoj Kumar mentioned that, multistory building will be developed in the open space. The buildings will have modern facilities. The construction work will be done on the plots made by the KDA.
