Meghalaya Honeymoon Murder Case: Audio Clip Of Eyewitness’ Call To Raja’s Brother REVEALS Two New Suspects In Plot

Amid the ongoing investigation into the Meghalaya honeymoon murder case, News24 has accessed an audio recording of an eyewitness’s phone conversation with Raja’s brother, Vipin Raghuvanshi. In another twist in the case, the eyewitness told Vipin Raghuvanshi that not just Raj Kushwaha, two more persons helped bring Sonam from Varanasi to Ghazipur.

The eyewitness revealed that Sonam was seen drinking mango juice at the bus stand in Varanasi, fearlessly and calmly. Sonam was seen with two boys at the bus stand in Varanasi about two hours before her surrender in Ghazipur.

These two boys had helped Sonam to board the bus going from Varanasi to Gorakhpur at around 11:30 pm. A resident of Saidpur in Ghazipur had called Vipin Raghuvanshi and informed him about Sonam.

Earlier, a senior police official from Uttar Pradesh shared more details regarding the arrest of Sonam Raghuvanshi. He stated that a 24-year-old, Sonam, was found near a dhaba on the Varanasi-Ghazipur main road on Monday. After she was relocated, Sonam was first sent to Sadar Hospital for initial treatment and then transferred to Sakhi One Stop Centre, stated ADG Law and Order, Uttar Pradesh, Amitabh Yash.

Notably, Raja Raghuvanshi and his wife, Sonam, both residents of Madhya Pradesh’s Indore, had gone missing during their honeymoon in Meghalaya. Raja’s body was later found in a gorge at Sohrarim near Cherrapunji in Meghalaya on June 2. They were married on May 11 and had gone for honeymoon on May 20. The couple was last seen on May 23, and their phone went switched off by the evening of the same day.
