Age is just a number, and at the age when most students are confused about choosing their fields and looking for college admissions, comes a story that is hard to believe, but here comes a girl who created history by being the world’s youngest CA at just the age of 19. Her achievement was so remarkable that it earned recognition from the Guinness World Records, which featured her in their record book.
Nandini’s educational background
She is basically from Morena, Madhya Pradesh. She skipped two grades in school, and that decision set her on a fast track; her journey was accelerated. She gave her class 10th boards at the age of 13. She completed her class 12 at the age of 15. Nandini already set her sights on one of the toughest exams in the world.
The CA exam is a true test of knowledge, discipline, and endurance. For Nandini, the challenge was even more intense, tackling complex financial laws and accounting standards while still in her teenage years. Yet, her determination never wavered.
Acknowledged by Guinness World Records
At the age of 19, she sat for her CA exam in July 2021. The results were declared on September 13 when she made history. Nandini secured Rank 1, scoring 614 out of 800. Her brother also cleared the same exam with AIR 18. In recognition of her extraordinary achievement, Nandini Agrawal was officially acknowledged by the Guinness World Records as the world’s youngest female Chartered Accountant. Additionally, the India Book of Records highlighted her national record for attaining the top rank at such a young age.
Faced Challenges Finding Apprenticeship
At just 16, Nandini encountered challenges securing an apprenticeship, as many companies were hesitant to hire someone so young. Despite this, she remained determined and continued pursuing opportunities.
