One such inspiring story is the life of Vaibhav Srivastava who is an IAS officer of the year 2018 batch and recently, considering his ability, has been deployed as the Director of the Information and Public Relations Department.

Officer’s First Statement After Assuming Post

“The government’s welfare schemes have to reach the public. We have to work as a bridge between the government and the public so that the public can easily put forth their views before the government and the government is able to inform them about its goals and develop the state with their cooperation. This objective of the Information and Public Relations Department makes it the most important department of the government system of any state”, said IAS officer Vaibhav Srivastava as he took charge as the new Director of the Information and Public Relations Department of Bihar.

The officer instructed all the officials of the department to ensure that their assigned responsibilities towards the Information and Public Relations Department are fulfilled with utmost sincerity.

Booster For Department?

With the appointment of Vaibhav Srivastava to this post that happened recently, it is assumed that the Information and Public Relations department of Bihar will get a booster and work in order to convey the schemes and strengthen the bridge between the government and the people of the state.

His appointment in the Information and Public Relations Department is considered special because the fraternity has a special task to create harmony between the government and the public. Vaibhav has good knowledge of administrative work and administrative policies, so it is assumed that the department would get a booster after this development. Before becoming the Director of the Information and Public Relations Department, Vaibhav was working as District Deputy Development Commissioner (DDC) in Nalanda district.

Delving Into Vaibhav’s Personal Life

Vaibhav Srivastava is a resident of Gola Nagar of Lakhimpur Kheri city of Uttar Pradesh. His family consists of his father Deepak Srivastava, mother Nidhi Srivastava and sister Swati Srivastava. Vaibhav pursued B.Tech from Surat after completing intermediate from Kendriya Vidyalaya, Agra. He had secured 98th rank in the UPSC CSE exam in the year 2017 and thereupon in the year 2018, he was designated as an IAS officer.

Giving success tips to the UPSC aspirants, he said that if one wishes to stand out successfully, one should write answers in the exam accordingly. Your answers should have the content to stand out. Your answers should be catching eyeballs. This is possible only with continuous practice.
