Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav’s cousin, Aryan Yadav, drew widespread attention as he married Sering from Ladakh in a lavish ceremony held in Saifai, Uttar Pradesh. The grand event took place on Tuesday, November 25 and was attended by top Samajwadi Party leaders alongside Yadav family. The pictures from grand ceremony quickly went viral online, sparking curiosity about the younger member of the prominent Yadav family.

Who is Aryan Yadav?

Aryan Yadav is the second son of Rajpal Yadav, the third brother of Samajwadi Party founder Mulayam Singh Yadav. Mulayam was the eldest of five brothers: Shivpal Singh Yadav, Rajpal Singh Yadav, Abhay Ram Yadav, and Ratan Singh Yadav. Rajpal passed away on January 9 at Medanta Hospital in Gurugram. He is the cousin of Akhilesh Yadav and brother-in-law of Dimple Yadav.

Aryan received his early education in Etawah and then was enrolled at DPS Noida, where he studied from grades 7 to 12. After completing his school, he secured admission to Delhi University, earning a B. Com Honours degree. He later moved to the United Kingdom for higher studies. Aryan completed a B.Sc. in Business from the renowned Cardiff University, and went on to earn his Masters’ degree from the University of Sydney in 2019, the same institution from which Akhilesh Yadav pursued his higher education. Aryan’s elder brother, Abhishek Yadav, serves as the District Panchayat President of Etawah. Their mother, Premlata Yadav, had previously held the same position.

Who is Aryan Yadav's bride?

Aryan’s bride, Sering hails from Ladakh and is a Supreme Court lawyer. Sering's father, Ringjan Angchuk, is a well-known contractor based in Ladakh. Their engagement was held in Delhi on December 15, 2024. The wedding was initially planned for March, 2025, but following the death of Aryan’s father, in January, the date was postponed. The wedding was held as per the customs of both families.
