Meerut Murder Case: New details have emerged in the Saurabh Rajput murder case. CCTV footage, photo evidence, statement from families, and findings from the police have added new angles to the story, making it more complex. Now, the statement from the accused Muskan’s mother has provided fresh insights into the Meerut Murder case. She stated that how a minor mistake by Saurabh cost him his life. Muskan’s mother Kavita Rastogi, had earlier demanded justice for Saurabh and wanted Muskan to be hanged till death. She stressed that Saurabh was a good man.
What Did Muskan’s Mother Say?
Kavita has now opened up and described the mistake that led to Saurabh’s tragic death. ABP quoted Muskan’s mother, who sated that they had not given Muskan a mobile phone to use before her marriage to Saurabh. However, after their marriage, Saurabh had permitted her to use the mobile phone. She further revealed that Saurabh himself had allowed Muskan to talk with Sahil, as they were classmates. This turned out to be one of the reasons for his death later, as the two boned well and grew close.
Her mother said that Saurbah trusted Muskan completely, but this faith in her led to his death. She said, “Muskan got involved in the wrong company, and he had no idea where she was heading to.”
She added that whatever Muskan has done is not an act to be forgiven easily. “If Muskan is found guilty, then she should receive strict punishment,” added her mother.
Muskan’s Father Demands Capital Punishment
Meanwhile Muskan’s father speaking to ANI, demanded capital punishment for her and stated that her actions are “very wrong.” He emphasised that Saurabh deserves justice.
Notably, he also played a crucial role in cracking the case. Muskan had confessed to the crime before him. “While we were going to the Police station, I stopped the scooter and spoke to her and told her to tell me the truth…then she confessed the truth that she and her friend together killed her husband, they put his body in a drum and placed cement on top of it. I took her to the Police station and asked her to tell the truth…that’s how the case got solved. The verdict, in this case, should come fast, and I don’t want anything less than capital punishment for her…what she did is very wrong…my son-in-law should get justice,” said Pramod.
