In Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, a four-year-old daughter lit the funeral pyre of her 74-year-old father. The little girl kept asking, “What happened to Papa? Where did Papa go?” but no one had the courage to answer. The sight brought tears to the eyes of the people and relatives present. The daughter was born through test-tube technology.

The entire incident took place in Shastri Nagar, Meerut, where 74-year-old Devendra Tyagi, a retired officer from the Sales Tax Department, experienced a life-altering event a few years ago that turned his world upside down in an instant. One by one, his joyful and lively family was lost. Eventually, a little angel came into his life through test-tube technology. However, just four years later, Devendra Tyagi passed away.

Devendra Tyagi had a son and a daughter, both of whom were married. In 2018, his 36-year-old son, Rahul Tyagi, passed away due to a brain hemorrhage. A month later, his 39-year-old married daughter, Prachi, also died. Both of them left behind two young children. Following these tragedies, Devendra faced another blow as his son-in-law and daughter-in-law distanced themselves from him during this difficult time.

Devendra’s brother-in-law, Rajiv Tyagi, mentioned that the son-in-law and daughter-in-law got remarried and started living separately with their respective children. As a result, Devendra and his wife, Madhu (66), were forced to live alone, and the loneliness took a toll on them.

According to Rajiv Tyagi, Devendra was devastated by the deaths of his son and daughter. To make matters worse, their grandchildren were also taken away. At this stage of life, Devendra and his wife, Madhu, had no other options left. They decided to use test-tube technology to continue their family line.

In 2020, at the age of 70, Devendra and his wife Madhu had a daughter through test-tube technology, who is now 4 years old. However, Devendra Tyagi passed away recently. Now, the only family members left are his wife Madhu and their four-year-old daughter. Consequently, the four-year-old daughter lit the funeral pyre of her 74-year-old father, bringing tears to everyone’s eyes.
