MCD Polls: AAP convenes all 250 candidates to plan strategies

New Delhi: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Friday released its ‘Kejriwal ki 10 guarantee’ for Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) polls scheduled for December 4.

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has promised that they will remove all the “three heaps of garbage” from the national capital and will not let it build again anywhere in the city.

While also focusing on regularisation of jobs, the Delhi CM said if the AAP wins the MCD polls, it will make sure that the salaries be paid on time and contract employees will be made permanent.

The AAP has promised to improve roads, better parking facilities, schools and hospitals.

As the cases of stray dogs’ attacks on general public are increasing, the party has assured that it will look into that matter and will come up with a solution to end this in future.

CM Kejriwal also offered to create a vending zone for all stall sellers, who will also receive their license, to ensure that no one extorts money from them.

The Delhi CM promised to make Delhi corruption free.

Don’t Vote For BJP

The AAP supremo claimed that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will not be able to win more than 20 seats. The saffron party has been ruling MCD since last three terms.

He said the BJP launches their ‘Vachan Patra’ and then, forget about it for the next five years when it comes to power.

A day earlier, the BJP had released its ‘Vachan Patra’ promising improved civic amenities, houses for slum dwellers and ending corruption in the national capital.

The polls will be conducted in 250 wards across Delhi. The counting of votes will take place on December 7.
