UP Govt. Issues Advisory On Wildlife Attack
The terror of wolves in Bahraich district, UP, has made life difficult for the locals. Several children have been killed by the wolves. In response to these recent human-wildlife conflicts in Uttar Pradesh, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has instructed the departmental minister and concerned officials to take necessary actions.
In some parts of the state, man-eating wolves and leopards are attacking people. Efforts should be made to catch and control these animals at all costs, and necessary steps should be taken. The administration, police, forest department, local panchayat, and revenue department have already been instructed to raise public awareness in the affected areas and inform people about safety measures.
The Forest Minister should send additional Forest Department personnel to Bahraich, Sitapur, Lakhimpur, Pilibhit, Bijnor, and other districts, and increase joint patrolling. Senior officers should stay in the affected districts and work with public representatives. In rural areas with power issues, Petromax lights should be arranged.
UP Becomes First State To Take Measures On Wildlife Disaster
Uttar Pradesh is the first state to declare human-wildlife conflict as a disaster. Every possible help should be provided to the families of those injured or killed in wildlife attacks.
