Rajasthan: A Rajasthan village witnessed a massive protest after some schoolboys allegedly tampered with a girl’s water bottle by filling it with urine and placing a love letter in her bag.
The incident led to an enraged response from the villagers, who attempted to enter the boy’s house.
When the police intervened to prevent the situation from escalating, the protesters pelted stones at the officers. In response, the police resorted to a lathi-charge to disperse the crowd.

According to Additional Superintendent of Police Ghanshyam Sharma, the girl, a student at a government senior higher secondary school, left her bag and water bottle in her class while going home for lunch on Friday. Upon returning and drinking from the bottle, she noticed a foul smell and realized that the boys had mixed urine with the water.
The girl reported the incident to the principal, but no action was allegedly taken, which further agitated the villagers.
When the school reopened the next day, they raised the issue with the tehsildar, the in-charge of Luhariya Police Station, and the school principal. However, when no satisfactory action was taken, the villagers entered the boys’ locality and resorted to stone-throwing.
As of now, no formal complaint has been filed by the girl, leading to no case being registered.
Nevertheless, authorities have asserted that action will be taken against those involved in the protest once the formal complaint is received. The situation remains tense as authorities keep a close eye on the developments.
