A massive public outrage was witnessed in Haryana’s Bhiwani over the death of a 19-year-old teacher. The public anger led to the suspension of internet services in Bhiwani and Charkhi Dadri for the next 48 hours.
According to PTI, the deceased has been identified as Manisha, whose body was found in a field on August 13. Manisha had been missing since August 11. She had left her school and gone to inquire about admission to a nursing college.
The government order does not mention the teacher’s death, but the development came in the wake of rising tension. People took to the streets and staged protests. They blocked roads while demanding a CBI probe.
