A major fire erupted in the industrial zone of Dombivli following a boiler explosion at the Amber Chemical Company. The fire department has arrived at the scene. Enormous columns of smoke were observed, and the explosion’s noise was heard up to 3 kilometers away from the site of the blast.

The factory workers were promptly evacuated, but as per early reports, 6 people lost their lives in the fire. The fire has spread to neighboring factories, prompting the evacuation of the entire area.
Initial reports indicate that four boilers at the Amber Chemical Company exploded, causing a massive blaze. The fire caused drums containing chemicals to burst, shattering window panes of the factory.
Fire brigades rushed to the scene, and firefighting operations are currently underway. As of now, there have been no reported casualties in the incident. However, several people were injured in the explosion and fire, with some reported to be in critical condition.

Expressing condolences over the incident, Ravindra Chavan, Maharashtra’s Minister of Public Works (Excluding Public Undertakings), urged residents in the surrounding areas not to panic.
He stated that the administration has been instructed to manage the firefighting operations. The Minister also emphasized that a thorough investigation will be conducted, and strict action will be taken against those found responsible.
