A massive factory fire in the Surajpur district of Greater Noida caused significant distress among local residents. The fire department promptly dispatched fire engines to the scene, where firefighters worked simultaneously to contain the blaze. The cooler manufacturing facility located in the Surajpur region of Gautam Buddha Nagar experienced a fire outbreak. Social media spread a video showing the incident that revealed heavy smoke pouring out of the building until it drowned the entire vicinity.

According to police official, “On the date 31.03.2025, information was received that a fire broke out at the Ocean Mold Plast company, located in Habibpur village within the Ecotech-3 police station area. The company manufactures plastic coolers. Upon receiving the information, fire brigade vehicles immediately began efforts to extinguish the fire. Due to the intensity of the fire, it has spread to nearby companies as well. DCP Central, along with other police officials, local police, and three other station in-charges with police forces, are present at the scene. A total of 26 fire brigade vehicles are engaged in firefighting efforts.”

Speaking to ANI, DCP Shakti Mohan Awasthi said, “We received information about a fire in a factory and its 2 warehouses. The fire has almost been extinguished from one side and the situation is under control from the other side as well. We have saved about 5 warehouses and factories from the fire. About 30 fire engines are present at the spot. The fire will be brought under control soon. The factory where the fire broke out used to manufacture coolers cupboards.”
