New Delhi: A boat capsized in Bihar’s Muzaffarpur district this morning that was carrying 32 students who were being taken to school.
The incident took place near Madhupur Patti Ghat along the Bagmati river in Bihar’s Muzaffarpur. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar told reporters that senior district officials, including the district magistrate, have been sent to the accident site and said help and support would be provided to the families of the children. support.
“A rescue operation is underway… I have asked the district concerned to look into this matter urgently. The state government will provide all support to the affected families,” he said.
A team from the National Disaster Response Force was also at the scene.
