New Delhi: Mumbai police receives a threat message citing a possible attack similar to 26/11.
The threat message read, “There is going to be an attack on Mumbai and it will remind you of 26/11 attack. If the police try to trace my number, the location will reflect out of India. 6 people will be executing this blast, and Mumbai city will be exploded. What if Osama bin Laden, Ajmal Kasab or Ayman al-Zawahiri was killed, there are many more.”

Mumbai Police is currently investigating the matter. The intelligence and central agencies have already been informed.

Suspicious boat with AK-47 and ammo found in Mumbai
On 18 August, two unidentified suspicious looking boats were found in Raigad district of Maharashtra. One of the boats was found at Harihareshwar beach. Carrying 3 AK-47 rifles along with ammunition and explosives in a custom made Neptune maritime safety box. While another boat Bharan Khol was found near the shore, carrying a life jacket and some documents.
It is being told that when the boat was spotted, no one was present in it. Following the development, the Maharashtra Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS) swung into action and pulled the vessel off the Raigad coast for further investigation.
The horrors of 26/11 terrorist attack
The 26/11 attack is one of the most horrific terrorist attack on Indian that was witnessed by the world. 10-heavily armed LeT (Lashkar-e-Taiba) terrorists breached into the Indian territory via water ways in Mumbai from Pakistan. They created ruckus and mayhem on the roads and various specific locations where public was gathered.
They targeted Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus, the Oberoi Trident, the Taj Palace & Tower, the Leopold Cafe, the Cama Hospital, the Nariman House, the Metro Cinema, and in a lane behind the Times of India building and St. Xavier’s College. Two exlosiions were also reported in the Mazgaon area and inside a taxi in Vile Parle.
