Mann Ki Baat: Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Sunday that many countries around the world are drawn to India’s UPI, highlighting the country’s digital advances.

PM Modi said at the 98th edition of the ‘Mann Ki Baat’ radio show that the UPI (Unified Payments Interface) system and the e-Sanjeevani App are shining examples of Digital India’s power. “Several countries throughout the world are interested in India’s UPI. The Prime Minister stated that during the Covid-19 pandemic, the eSanjeevani App proved to be a wonderful blessing for the people. It is a brilliant illustration of Digital India’s power, he remarked.

“You can consult a doctor about your sickness using this app’s tele-consultation, which allows you to consult a doctor while sitting far away via video conference. The number of teleconsultants utilising this software has now surpassed ten million. This incredible bond between a patient and a doctor is a significant accomplishment. I congratulate all of the doctors and patients who have used this service for this accomplishment. This is a living illustration of how the people of India have incorporated technology into their daily lives “PM said.
