Manthan 2025: Saurabh Bhardwaj Talks About Budget Says ‘Even Today Delhi Is In Surplus..’ | Watch Video

When asked if the Delhi government budget is no longer showing a surplus, Surah replied and said that this is not the case, Delhi's budget remains in surplus.

On Wednesday, January 22, AAP National Convener and Former Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal, AAP leader & Candidate from Jangpura assembly seat Manish Sisodia and Delhi Minister Saurabh Bharadwaj attended the News 24 event, Manthan 2025. Arvind Kejriwal is contesting from the New Delhi assembly constituency. He spoke on various issues, one such issue is the Delhi Elections.

When asked if the Delhi government budget is no longer showing a surplus, Surah replied and said that this is not the case, Delhi’s budget remains in surplus. Further, he said that when the Aam Aadmi Party government came to power in Delhi for the first time, the budget was Rs 30,000 crore. And now the budget for this year is Rs 77,000 crores. He said, “Even today Delhi is in surplus.”

He also mentioned that the women living in the national capital are happy with the party. Women have started planning for the pension of Rs 2000 that they will receive after AAP comes to power. He also said that during the election campaign, a woman said that with the pension money, she would buy two suits worth 1000 each from Delhi’s Chandni Chowk.
