On Sunday January 19, Congress leader Sandeep Dikshit attended News 24 event, Manthan 2025. Sandeep is an MP from East Delhi Lok Sabha constituency. During this he spoke on multiple issue. One such issue was the Delhi Assembly Elections.
Speaking at Manthan 2025, Congress leader Sandeep Dikshit open up on the Delhi Elections and said that, “We have been very aggressive in the last two-three months. People don’t listen to you as much when you don’t have a big presence. There are already two parties and the political space is already filled. Slowly we have to inch ourselves. And today when you inch yourself and communicate in person, there is a media, social media and others, this is not something that you can automatically create your own place in…When people start listening to you and slowly space is created.”
He further said that, “I think we’ll do very well….In 1983, when Congress was very strong, we had two-third majority, we won 40 seats out of 42 in Andhra Pradesh, then ‘NT Rama Rao’ comes and defeats Congress. Sometimes cataclysmic change comes, it is not that it does not come.”
He spoke on winning and loosing in the election and said that, “If you are seriously into politics then you get used to winning and losing.”
In this Delhi Elections, Sandeep Dikshit is contesting against Former Delhi CM and AAP Candidate from New Delhi assembly seat.
