Mann Ki Baat: Prime Minister Narendra Modi said in the ‘Mann Ki Baat’ program today that our country is doing wonders in the solar sector as well as in the space sector. The whole world is surprised to see the achievements of India today.
Prime Minister Modi said that India has simultaneously installed 36 satellites in space. This success achieved just a day before Diwali is in a way a special Diwali gift from our youth to the country. This launch will further strengthen the digital connectivity across the country from Kashmir to Kanyakumari and Kutch to Kohima.
PM Modi extends Chhath wishes
PM Modi has greeted the countrymen on the occasion of Chhath Mahaparv. PM Modi said in the 94th episode of his Mann Ki Baat radio program that today Chhath, the great festival of sun worship, is being celebrated in many parts of the country. Lakhs of devotees have reached their villages, their homes, their families to be a part of Chhath festival. I pray that Chhath Maiya blesses everyone with prosperity and welfare.
Prime Minister Modi said that the tradition of Surya worship is a proof of the deep connection of our culture, our faith, with nature. The importance of sunlight in our life has been explained through this puja. Along with this the message has also been given that ups and downs are an integral part of life. Therefore, we should have the same attitude in every situation.
Chhath festival an example of great India: PM Modi
The festival of Chhath is also an example of ‘Ek Bharat- Shrestha Bharat’. Today, wherever the people of Bihar and Purvanchal are in any corner of the country, Chhath is being celebrated with great pomp. Chhath is being organized on a large scale in different districts of India.
The Prime Minister said that earlier there was not that much Chhath Puja in Gujarat, but with the passage of time, the colors of Chhath Puja are being seen in almost the whole of Gujarat. I am also very happy to see this. Nowadays we see gorgeous pictures of Chhath Puja from abroad too. That is, the rich heritage of India, our faith, is increasing its identity in every corner of the world.
Prime Minister on solar energy
Prime Minister Modi said that India is harnessing solar energy in a big way. “In solar energy, India has become one of the leading countries in the world. The way solar energy is transforming the lives of the poor and middle classes is a matter of study,” he said.
PM Modi said that India, today, is connecting its traditional experiences with modern science and because of that we have become one of the largest countries to generate electricity from solar energy. How solar energy is changing the lives of the poor and middle class of our country is also a subject of study.
The PM said that a few days ago, you must have heard a lot of discussion about the country’s first Surya Gram- Modhera in Gujarat. Most of the houses in Modhera Surya Village have started generating electricity from solar power. Now many houses there are not getting electricity bill at the end of the month.
