New Delhi: Over a week after Athisi was sworn in as minister, authorities allocated former Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia’s bungalow to her.
Last month Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) arrested Manish Sisodia in connection to alleged corruption in framing Delhi’s new liquor excise policy, after which he resigned from his post along with another jailed minister Satyendra Jain.
To fill the vacant position, Athishi and Saurabh Bhardwaj were inducted into the cabinet.
According to an official letter, issued by the Public and Works Department on March 14, Atishi has to give her nod within eight days for the possession.

Manish Sisodia had been living at the AB-17 bungalow since 2015 after AAP came into power for the second time.
“It is a routine practice. Since Manish had resigned, his official bungalow will be reallocated to Atishi,” an official letter said.
According to letter, Mr Sisodia has been asked to vacate the bungalow before March 21.
