INDIA vs NDA: Lok Sabha adjourned till 12 PM, Oppn demands PM Modi’s statement
New Delhi: A ruckus continued in Parliament on Monday during the Monsoon session demanding Prime Minister Narendra Modi's brief statement on Manipur violence.
Owing to which, Lok Sabha chairperson Om Birla postponed the proceedings till 12 in the noon, while advicing the protesting Opposition leaders to leave room for discussion on the issues of public interest.
The chairperson said the leaders will get a chance to speak as per the norms but they will have to wait for their turn.

The Parliament has turned a battleground for the PM Narendra Modi's National Democractic Alliance (NDA) and Opposition front I.N.D.I.A. The same appears to be the first fight after several Opposition parties came along to form an alliance.
With the issue of Manipur violence and especially, the sexual violence against the two women belonging to Kuki-Zo community, the Opposition has cornered the ruling government demanding PM Modi to briefly address the issue.
So far, PM Modi has addressed the issue only once when he strongly condemned the two women being paraded naked by at least a thousand of men in Kangpokpi district. He expressed his anguish over the video, promising justice to the victims.
11 notices from Opposition in RS, BJP highlights Bengal Panchayat polls violence
In the latest, many Opposition leaders have condmned the issue and submitted a strongly-worded adjournment notices in both the Lok Sabha and the Rajya Sabha.
While the Rajya Sabha recieved 11 notices regarding shifting focus of Parliament discuss on Manipur issues under Rule 176, and 27 under Rule 267 today, the Bharatiya Janata Party-led NDA pointed out at the violence during Panchayat Polls in West Bengal.
BJP accuses Opposition to "run away" from discussion
Meanwhile, the ruling government has been emphasising that they are eager to discuss the matter but it is the Opposition that is "running away" from the issue.
