In a shocking incident, a man shot his son and daughter-in-law in Uttar Pradesh’s Gorakhpur district. The man was upset after he was asked by his son and daughter-in-law to quit alcohol. The man used to fight with family members after consuming alcohol.
Accused got into a heated argument with family members
According to NDTV, the police said the incident took place in Barhalganj where Hari Yadav, a retired home guard, reached his home in an inebriated condition and got into a heated argument with the family members. When he was asked to quit alcohol by his son and daughter-in-law, he opened fire on them.
Both injured are said to be critical
Hari Yadav’s elder son Anup Yadav sustained injury in the chest, while his younger daughter-in-law Supriya Yadav was shot in the left hand and stomach. Both have been referred to BRD Medical College, and their condition is said to be critical.
The Barhalganj SHO said that Hariyadav has been taken into custody, and a case has been registered.
UP: 2 killed, 5 injured after car collided with unknown vehicle
Two people were killed in a tragic accident on the Yamuna Expressway near Milestone 98 in the Thana Mant area of Mathura in which five people sustained injuries on Saturday, as per the officials.
Four-wheeler collided with car
A four-wheeler, travelling from Noida towards Agra, collided with a vehicle and overturned. A total of seven people were travelling in the car. Two of them, a woman named Pooja from Gaur City and a man named Sumit from Darbhanga, Bihar, died while being taken to the hospital.
Injured have been admitted to nearby hospital
The other five people in the car were seriously injured and have been admitted to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Police are investigating the cause of the accident and trying to identify the other vehicle involved in the collision.
