The video evidence of this appalling act involving Pawan Malhotra and a dog emerged online, leading to condemnation by several animal activists. The video depicted a semi-naked man engaging in inappropriate acts with the dog, raising serious concerns about the safety and welfare of animals within society.
As a result of this disturbing incident, an FIR was lodged against the accused under Section 377 of the IPC, which pertains to “carnal intercourse against the order of nature with any man, woman, or animal.” The FIR was registered at the Rajouri Garden police station on September 14, following a report made by a member of People for Animals (PFA) named AB. AB reached out to the police to report Pawan Malhotra’s alleged repeated sexual abuse of stray dogs and highlighted the risk that he may pose to women as well if his actions go unchecked.
It has been noted that Pawan has been engaging in such behavior since 2019. In response to the recent FIR against him, an animal lover named Garima Bajaj expressed her concerns, stating that Pawan’s actions have been ongoing since 2019 and that despite the awareness of people in his vicinity, including his family, the issue has been ignored
