A man was allegedly thrashed by the relatives of his girlfriend after being caught with her in Uttar Pradesh’s Agra. The man was riding with her on a bike when a few men stopped him. They started thrashing him on the road.
The incident took place at Yamuna Bridge under the Etmaddulah Police Station. The man’s girlfriend tried to stop the attackers, but they brutally thrashed him. A few passersby informed the police. The relatives of his girlfriend were in no mood to spare him. A police sub-inspector reached the spot to save him but to no avail.
As per reports, the man, Sonu Rathore, is married and has two wives. The girl’s family members and relatives came to know about their affair. The girl’s relatives tried to make her understand, but she left the home with Sonu. Later, the relatives found them, and they trashed Sonu brutally.
The police have sent Sonu for a medical examination. A senior police officer said that a case will be registered upon receiving a complaint from the girl.
