New Delhi: One person was killed in a gunfire incidnet took place at the residence of Union Minister Kaushal Kishore in Uttar Pradesh’ Lucknow. Three people were arrested following the incident.
Initial reports said the deceased was identified as Vinay Shrivastava, a friend of the Union Minister’s son. The shooting happened at a house located in the village of Begariya, in the area of Thakurganj police station.
Bullet Fired From Pistol of Minister’s Son
Three people have been arrested, while the police has launched an investigation to look at it through multiple aspects. The pistol used in the shooting was recovered by police, which belonged to the Minister’s son Vikas Kishore.
Additional police forces have been deployed to the area and an investigation is underway. DCP (West) Rahul Raj said the shooting happened last night and Vinay was killed.
Complaint Filed
Three or four people are having dinner at home. Complaints were filed regarding this on the basis of complaints from Vinay’s family.
A pistol was recovered from the crime scene and sent for further inspection. He said the CCTV footage had also been reviewed for more details and added that the reason behind the shooting was still unknown.
