In a shocking incident, a 41-year-old man died by suicide in a hotel room in Mumbai. The deceased has been identified as Nishant Tripathi. He uploaded his suicide note on his company’s website for which he worked for. He blamed his wife and her aunt for the extreme step in the suicide note.
The police said Nishant stayed at a hotel three days before the incident. He had allegedly put up a sign-do not disturb-at the door of his room. When the hotel staff approached his room and didn’t get any response, they used a master key to open the door. They found Nishant’s Body hanging in the room and alerted the police.
The Mumbai police launched a probe into the matter. Police filed a case against Nishant’s wife, Apoorva Parikh and her aunt, Prarthana Mishra.
In the suicide note, Nishant expressed his love for his wife and held her aunt responsible for his death.
Nishant’s mother Neelam Chaturvedi, who is a social activist, said in a Facebook post, “ I Feel Like a Living Corpse.” She said she devoted her life to women’s rights and gender equality.
A few days back, Manav Sharma took his life at his residence in Agra. He had also blamed his wife for the extreme step.
