Security Concerns in Hospitals

This incident raises concerns about the safety of patients and families in Kolkata hospitals. Recently, protests at RG Kar Medical College highlighted similar issues following the murder of a trainee doctor.

Dr. Bipresh Chakroborty, a junior doctor, expressed disappointment, claiming that the police on duty did not intervene during the attack. Even though the incident was reported, no immediate case was filed.

Investigation in Progress

Bhawanipur police are investigating the incident and are reviewing CCTV footage to identify the attackers. A case is expected to be lodged soon, and authorities are working to find those responsible.

This attack has sparked calls for stronger security measures to ensure safety in hospitals for both patients and staff.
