Mamata Banerjee is a renowned artist. She loves painting, poetry and music. The testimony of her interest in painting is the first two Duronto trains launched in 2009 which were painted by the then rail minister Mamata Banerjee.
She was seen playing a piano on the morning when the results of the West Bengal assembly elections were to be announced. She was all calm and peaceful as if she knew nobody could match her in Bengal.
Now, ahead of the voting for phase 4 in West Bengal for the Lok Sabha elections, the state CM was seen dancing with the artists in a public meeting in Howrah. Holding the hands of the dancers and trying hard to match the steps, Mamata looks like a newbie at least in this art while a number of singers sing in chorus in the background.

She then switches to something she loves to do, playing a musical instrument. Praises and claps echo as Mamata Banerjee beats the drum with the rhythm.
Memes questioning her dancing skills have flooded social media over this video. “This is why didi gets hurt frequently”, commented a user. While another user wrote words of praise for her, “all-rounder didi.”

42 Lok Sabha seats in West Bengal have been distributed across seven phases of voting starting from April 19 and ending on June 1. Though the Sandeshkhali ordeal created much fuss in the state, it was later alleged to be concocted. The issues of the people of Bengal are still basic, derived from small schemes of allowances and cereals for the culturally rich yet poverty-stricken state.
