New Delhi: West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee announced to the stage a two-day sit-in demonstration in Kolkata against the BJP-led Union government’s alleged discrimination behaviour towards the state.
She alleged the central government had not allocated funds for MGNREGA and other projects of the housing and road departments.
“West Bengal is the one state which has not got any allocation from the Union government. They have not given us our due funds. They have not announced anything for Bengal in Union Budget,” said Mamta Banerjee.
