Major Relief For Property Buyers! YEIDA Approves Key Proposals, Including Installment Option – Check Details

The allottees are having time till 31st March to apply, after this they will have to pay the 1st installment of 25% in time frame of two months.

The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority, in its board meeting held on Monday, validated various suggestions. Among these is the proposal to allow over 8,000 property buyers to pay the additional 64.75% farmers hiked compensation—linked to the land acquisition for the Noida International Airport—in four installments, as reported by Hindustan Times.

As per Authority, the allottees are having time till 31st March to apply, after this they will have to pay the 1st installment of 25% in time frame of two months.

As quoted by Hindustan Times, the Chief Executive Officer of Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA), Arun Vir Singh mentioned that, “The remaining amount will be paid in three instalments over six-month intervals. But no relief will be granted on interest or penal interest for delayed payments, apart from the two-year timeline provided to clear the dues.”

According to officials, another key topic of discussion was the implementation of a standardized industrial plot allotment policy in line with Greater Noida and Noida authorities.

During this the board agreed to do the e-auction for the plots up to 8,000 sqm, while larger parcels will be given via interview based-process.

Further he mentioned that, “The modifications will be required in the objective parameters for interview-based allotments to reflect the distinct pace of development in the Yeida region. The revised parameters will be presented at the next board meeting on March 28 for approval.” The authority has also approved to fix 25 roads in the YEIDA region.

Apart from this the Authority has approved the 100 electric buses allocation under the city bus project. Out of 500 buses planned 100 will be for YEIDA and Greater Noida & rest 300 will be for Noida Authority. The authority has planned to bring 150 buses to boost connectivity between the Jewar Airport and Delhi.

The board approved the construction of peripheral boundaries around Akalpur, Myana, and Maqsoodpur—to curb encroachments.
